Spicy Chops with Apple Chutney

Spicy Chops with Apple Chutney

Very easy meal for 2 or for company! Serve with pole beans or a salad.



1 tbsp unsalted butter

3 chopped apples

1/2 c. dried cranberries

2 tbsp raw honey

3 tbsp apple cider

2 tsp unsulphered molasses

1/4 tsp sea salt

2 tsp ground ginger

1/4 tsp ground mustard

1/2 tsp allspice


1 tsp chili pepper

1/4 tsp sea salt

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp black pepper

4 boneless, center cut pork chops


1 Chutney- Melt butter in skillet over med-high heat. Add apple and saute about 5 min. Add cranberries and rest of chutney ingredients. Reduce heat and let simmer about 10 min or til apples are tender.

2.Heat a George Foreman or a grill pan.Combine all spices and rub into meat. Cook til done and white inside. 4-10 min

3. Serve the chops topped with the chutney.
