That being said,I,myself, need to re-motivate myself from time to time. I really haven’t been watching my portions lately, especially trying create recipes for the blog. I may have taste tested a little more than I should.. Plus,I’ve noticed that my water intake is taking a back seat,I really need to get back to my 9 glasses a day.
I love a good challenge, especially the end results!I feel better not only physically but mentally as well. Along with my challenge,I like to have a goal to work towards. It can be small or big,but don’t make it unattainable! Say if one wants to lose 50 pounds, start with mini goals of 5-10 lbs.Don’t overwhelm yourself! Personally,my goals are to get completely back on track and lose these last 7 pounds.
I hope that you will join me in this challenge, add some of your own if you like! Let me know what,if anything that you may have or want added, maybe I’ll add it to mine in the upcoming weeks!
I am going to run this challenge for at least a month, changing it up a bit each week.Officially this will start on Monday,Sept.22,but you certainly can start now! Remember not to start Monday off without planning your meals/snacks and having your ingredients ready! Keep them as clean as possible ,hoping by the end of the month, most will be totally clean eaters or at least a lot healthier eaters!
Let’s do this! Either on this blog or my Facebook page, send me your suggestions, frustrations, success stories or questions, you may just help not only yourself but someone with same ideas or issues! I wish everyone the best!
You can also check my page that is called “blog” for more on clean eating.
Autumn Challenge 2014
-start a food journal.Great tool for keeping up with your consumed food and drink, also wonderful to use as a diary of how you did that day or just to write yourself a positive note to look back on!
-Drink 8-10 full glasses of water each day. If you drink water with all your meals and snacks, your almost there!
-Plan/pack foods ahead of time so you don’t find yourself at a drive thru or trying to starve, which is never a good plan.
-Cut out the processed sugars,in fact this week, stay away from sweet snacks, if you have a sweet tooth try eating fruit such as pineapple with your meals.
-Exercise at least 5 out of the next 7 days ,no less than 15 min and as much as you like! If you are a true couch potato, get off couch during all the commercials and walk circles around the sofa!
-eat clean, chose as minimally processed and/or fresh foods as possible!
You got this!! If you find yourself eating something not clean, don’t throw in the towel for that day, just start over at the very next meal!! Once you start seeing results and you feel better,a small “cheat” is certainly okay just not everyday.
I look forward to hearing from you!!
