Stewed Cinnamon Apples

I love stewed apples, but have been unlucky in finding any clean ones. This morning I was looking at my basket of apples and thought that was no reason why I couldn’t make my own. So below is my newest recipe and I can’t wait for the hubby to try them tonight ( I already sneaked a bite..okay a couple of bites, but I had to make sure they were good..).


6-10 apples ( I like granny smith or golden delicious ), peeled and either sliced or cut in chunks
1/4 cup water
3 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp molasses
1 tbsp local honey
Put everything in pot, stir to evenly coat the apples. Cook on med-high heat for about 20 min or apples give a little when pushed gently with a spoon. Stir maybe 2-3 times during this, don’t over stir, you don’t want them mushy or falling apart..
